"Bruiser"
Bruiser was purchased in December 2009 from Midwest Coral Farms, which had just recently opened in Highland Park, IL. We have every reason to believe he was captive bred and raised given the pricing and availability and predominance of captive-bred blue stripes on the market.
One week into ownership at the time of this writing, we have seen Bruiser one time since he acclimated to the main tank - last night after feeding and just before lights went out on the tank. Hopefully we will have more of an update on this fish - and some photos from our tank - soon.
